Welcome to this Dance Devotional, and happy month of my birth!
April is usually a rainy transition month here in Kansas, and that is my kind of weather. Unfortunately, it makes for rather poor natural lighting, so I hope you can see okay.
Over the past few months, I have been focusing on my inner world.
Cleaning out the "garbage," refusing to dwell on thought patterns that don't serve me well.
Without even trying, I have been very consistent with Dr. Joe Dispenza's meditations.
If you don't know who he is or what he does, watch the film What the Bleep Do We Know, or check out Dr. Joe's YouTube channel. He delivers just the right amount of science and tough love for my analytical mind to help me understand how to shift my thought patterns.
Anyway, when he tells his workshop attendees to meditate regularly, he is very adamant that they find a way to prioritize it no matter what. "Do it anyway," he says.
Don't think you're that good at it? Do it anyway.
Don't feel like it? Do it anyway.
Think it's stupid? Do it anyway.
Do it anyway, because pretty soon, you'll start to notice it's working.
We all know we need to care for our bodies a little bit every day in order to maintain our health, so even if life has been totally crappy to you and your world is falling down, do it anyway.
You'll be glad you did.
Don't forget to follow me on FACEBOOK! I have some fun times coming soon. I don't want you to miss it.
